Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a CDL A Driver to safely transport equipment to customer sites and perform on-site maintenance tasks. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, manage logs, and ensure courteous, professional customer service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and at least 2 years of DOT driving experience. Lifting up to 45 lbs and occasional weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Safe driving record required.
• Ability to use technology to maintain DOT compliance records (ROS/HOS).
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles as needed.
• Maintain professional customer contact and communicate with Dispatcher.
