Job summary

Golden State Foods in Hawaii (Oahu) is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to service local routes, delivering food products to restaurant customers and returning loads.

You will operate a diesel tractor-trailer, complete DOT logs and inspections, communicate with dispatch, and maintain equipment and paperwork.

This 24/7 role requires night/weekend/holiday shifts, lifting up to 75 lbs, and a route that keeps you home daily with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card required.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience.
• Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch and store teams.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

In This Role, You’ll

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is a touch-freight role
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

What You’ll Bring

• A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience
• Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting

• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Schedule: 1:30PM-11:30pm or 4am to 2pm, ask me what is available
• All trailers equipped with lift gates - no ramps
• Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs

Pay & Benefits

• Earn up to: $37.75/hr

* The expected range for this position is $29.00/hour - $37.75/hour (For Hourly, Non-Exempt Roles) Location, confirmed job-related skills, education, experience, and relevant training will be considered in setting the actual starting salary.
