Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a CDL Class A Driver in New Jersey to safely transport freight to customers and distribution centers. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform inspections, secure cargo, and maintain records while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires valid CDL A, DOT medical card, and ability to meet DOT regulations. Your schedule is Sunday through Wednesday 4:00pm–3:00am; starting pay may adjust by market conditions and final salary will be determined with

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service.
• Ability to complete logs and transportation records accurately.
• Strong customer service, communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractors and trailers.
• Deliver freight per routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo.
• Maintain logs and delivery documents accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes and issues.
• Report accidents or damages promptly.
• Provide courteous service to customers.
