Job summary

Topaz HR Advisory in Linden, NJ seeks an experienced CDL-A Driver for nightly drop-and-hook deliveries of hardwood flooring to multiple store and warehouse locations. Reliability, safety, and physical ability to unload are essential.

You will work Mon-Fri, 1AM–1PM, at an hourly rate of $30, with overtime possible. Company vehicles and unloading equipment are provided; strong organizational and route-planning skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a CDL driver in delivery or logistics operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and unload materials safely.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-compliant truck to deliver hardwood flooring materials to 4–5 store and warehouse locations nightly.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations and ensure trailer exchanges on schedule.
• Unload materials at each location using appropriate equipment.
• Plan and adjust nightly routes based on traffic or weather to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver to handle nightly drop-and-hook operations and deliveries from our Linden, NJ location. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and physically capable of handling material unloading. This role is critical to ensuring our stores and warehousesremainstocked and operational.

Location: Linden, NJ

Hourly Rate: $30/hr

Schedule: Mon- Fri,1AM –1PM

Key Responsibilities

• Safelyoperatea CDL-compliant truck to deliver hardwood flooring materials to 4–5 store and warehouse locations each night within NY, NJ, CT, and PA.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations efficiently, ensuring trailers areexchangedand deliveries are executed on schedule.
• Unload materials at each location using proper equipment and techniques.
• Plan and adjust nightly routes based on traffic, weather, or other unforeseen conditions to ensuretimelydeliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections tomaintaintruck safety and compliance.
• Complete andsubmitdelivery paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
