Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver - Mobile Storage to safely deliver, set up, and retrieve storage containers, ground level offices, and office trailers. The role emphasizes professional customer interaction and strict adherence to DOT requirements.

The position requires a valid CDL A, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing. You will support yard operations as needed while maintaining safety standards and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of DOT regulated driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license with a clean DOT record.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing and setup.
• Knowledge of GVW regulations, height/weight limits, winch operations, and hazmat placarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and pick up storage containers, ground level offices, and office trailers using roll-off or tilt-bed equipment.
• Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Block, level, set up, and secure units onsite according to safety standards.
• Interact professionally with customers on site and verify placement and accessibility.
• Follow OSHA/DOT safety standards and report any safety concerns.
• Assist in yard/shop tasks, including cleaning, minor repairs, and inventory.
