Job summary

Hearth & Home Technologies, LLC is hiring a CDL Driver/Material Handler in Lake City, MN. Shifts run 7:30AM–6:00PM, 4x10 schedule Monday–Thursday, with OT on Fridays. Primary duties include driving, palletizing, and loading/unloading at docks.

The role requires a Class A CDL or ability to obtain it within 3 months, forklift certification, and ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Familiarity with scanners and basic math is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Ability to obtain forklift or Industrial material handling equipment certification.
• Lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk 2/3rds of the time.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses spotting truck to move trailers into and out of docking areas.
• 50% of the time is spent driving truck and 50% time is spent material handling.
• Line unload, stage and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks.
• Use of scanners and shrink wrap machines.
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection.
