Job summary

Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. in Kansas City, KS is seeking a CDL-A Driver Manager to lead shuttle and delivery operations. You will dispatch, route, and coordinate freight while ensuring safety, service quality, and cost control.

The role requires 5 years in logistics/fleet operations and previous supervisory experience. You’ll collaborate with warehouse and cross-dock teams to optimize performance and drive improvements in delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license appropriate for assigned equipment; CDL-A class and endorsements to be confirmed.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience with multi-location distribution, warehousing, or fleet operations.
• Prior senior lead or supervisory experience.
• Business experience with an emphasis on logistics and supply chain.
• Strong organization and cross-department communication skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan shuttle and delivery routes with drivers, dispatch trucks and orders, and track scheduled activity to support timely, accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movement with Shipping, Receiving, Security, and other departments as needed.
• Communicate with warehouse teams, drivers, and cross-dock supervisors to resolve routing and delivery issues.
• Monitor operational quality and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Develop and improve delivery processes, implement lean procedures, and analyze cost-reduction opportunities.
• Oversee safety procedures, reporting, and accident review activities while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Certify drivers using company-preferred driving techniques.
• Plan, assign, schedule, and review team members’ work to maintain quality and service standards.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop staff, promoting courteous service and teamwork.
• Manage performance reviews, corrective action, and employment decisions in accordance with company policies.

About the Role
