Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a skilled CDL-A Driver to join our Transportation team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and AIM facilities.

This role involves local runs with potential out-of-state duties, pre-trip inspections, loading and unloading, tarping, and maintaining accurate delivery records. We offer full-time employment with vacation, medical benefits, and a 401(k) matching program, plus overtime

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A with a clean MVR and medical certification.
• Experience driving 18-speed manual transmissions.
• Able to load/unload and tarp loads as needed.
• Familiarity with metal recycling processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from locations.
• Safely load/unload materials and secure loads for transit.
• Local runs with potential out-of-state work; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Complete deliveries records and required documentation.
