United Rentals in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment safely and on time, serving as a company ambassador and ensuring excellent customer service. The role emphasizes local routes, allowing you to be home each night while supporting trench safety needs and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include drop-offs/pickups, operating heavy equipment, maintaining logs, inspecting pre-shift, and upselling equipment to customers, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per CDL-A.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specifications.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
