Job summary

Food Express, Inc. is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for local and line haul operations based in Maywood, CA.

You will safely operate a commercial tractor and vacuum pneumatic trailer, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure timely deliveries of bulk food commodities to manufacturing sites. Successful candidates will have a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, a clean DMV record, and pass the DOT drug screen and physical.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL
• Must have a tanker endorsement
• Clean DMV record; DOT drug screen and physical required

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial tractor and self-loading vacuum pneumatic trailer (training provided)
• Inspect tractor, trailer, and required accessories to ensure safe operating conditions before departure
• Load and deliver product from railcars and warehouses to silos or bulk containers at manufacturing sites
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Be team-oriented and self-motivated
