Job summary

Reworld is seeking a CDL A professional to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste across a multi-state regional footprint. The role blends regional and long-haul work with a flexible schedule and a mix of dry vans, walking floor trailers, and CO2 equipment.

You will operate safely under DOT regulations, maintain logs and documentation, and communicate with dispatch and customers. Expect extended periods away from home with a hybrid on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A required.
• Tanker endorsement and Hazmat certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience, preferably with tanker or specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely over regional and long distance routes in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Transport materials between locations across TX, LA, NV, and UT as dispatched.
• Perform drop and hook operations with occasional loading/unloading.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required records.

About the role

The CDL Driver III will transport hazardous and non hazardous waste between company facilities and customer sites across a multi state regional footprint. This role blends regional and long haul work and requires a high level of flexibility in schedule and time on the road. Drivers operate a variety of manual and automatic equipment including dry vans, walking floor trailers, and CO2 trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely over regional and long distance routes in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Transport materials between locations in Texas, Louisiana, Nevada, and Utah based on dispatch and load assignments
• Perform primarily drop and hook operations with occasional loading and unloading using pumps and hoses
• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate transportation documentation including manifests, bills of lading, logs, and inspection reports
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, issues, or delays
• Follow routing instructions and adjust to changing schedules and load demands
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety for employees, customers, and the public

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid CDL Class A required
• Tanker endorsement required and Hazmat
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience ideally with tanker or specialized equipment
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions

Schedule and Route

Regional and OTR hybrid model covering Texas, Louisiana, Nevada, and Utah Typical operating window is Monday through Saturday depending on load demand Start times vary and are dispatch driven Drivers are generally out for about a week at a time but this is not consistent Home time is not guaranteed weekly and depends on business needs Drivers must be comfortable being out for extended periods ranging from multiple weeks up to a month at a time Schedule is not fixed or predictable and requires full flexibility

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $60,000.00 - $79,900.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
