Job summary

Reworld is seeking a CDL Driver II to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. You will operate a variety of tanker and trailer equipment and may perform multiple types in a day.

Responsibilities include DOT-compliant driving, vehicle inspections, and handling paperwork for hazardous materials. Home daily or regionally within a 5-hour radius of Asheboro.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL Class A required.
• Hazmat is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2+ years CDL driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Home daily / regional work as assigned (within a 5-hour window of Asheboro).

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods and materials according to DOT regulations and scheduled appointments.
• Operate trucks and specialized equipment including pumps, wet kits, vac kits, PTO pumps when required.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks and paperwork tied to hazardous and non-hazardous transport including manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
