Reworld is seeking a CDL Driver II to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites in the Asheboro area. You will operate tankers, roll-offs, end dumps, walking floor trailers, and vans, with routes covering NC, VA, TN, mostly home daily.

Typical shifts start around 1–2 AM with 11–12 hour days. The position offers per diem for overnight trips, comprehensive health coverage, retirement plan, PTO, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2+ years CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Home daily / regional work within a 5-hour window of Asheboro.

Responsabilités

• Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods and materials according to DOT regulations.
• Operate trucks and specialized equipment including pumps, wet kits, vac kits, PTO pumps when required.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks and paperwork tied to hazardous and non-hazardous transport including manifests and logs.
• Ensure vehicle placarding meets all DOT requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and other drivers.
• Safely operate vehicles and uphold safety standards for self, coworkers, clients, and the public.
• Interpret maps and follow written and verbal delivery directions.
• Complete additional assigned duties.

Connaissances

CDL Class A

2+ years CDL driving experience

Hazmat preferred

Acceptable driving record

High School Diploma or GED preferred
