Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in the Chicago area is recruiting CDL drivers for a busy regional fleet. Expect about 1,900 miles per week and home every weekend. New drivers receive 4–6 weeks of training with an experienced trainer and $685 weekly training pay.

You can also count on weekly guaranteed earnings of $1,000 in your first 3 months solo. Benefits include health, dental and vision after 30 days, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, $300 orientation pay and the option for riders and pets after

Qualifications

• 21+ with a valid Class A CDL.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Job description

Drivers on this Chicago-based fleet average about 1,900 miles a week and still get home every weekend. If you're on the West Side or in the near suburbs with a brand new Class A, you can start with paid training.

Pay

• $1,000 to $1,700 average weekly gross
• 1,600 to 2,000 miles a week
• $15 stop pay for each stop except first and last
• Short haul pay: $40 extra on loads up to 150 miles, $25 on 151 to 250 miles
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo

Training

• 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer
• $685 a week training pay
