Job summary

PMB Services, Inc. in Tennessee is seeking a CDL-A driver who thrives on more than highway miles. You will haul pre-built portable storage buildings to sales locations, then set them in place, level and block to spec, and perform site cleanup.

Overnight travel is possible, with most weeks ending at home on Friday or Sunday. Expect a realistic schedule of 40–50 hours weekly, with paid overtime after 40 hours and travel premiums when staying away overnight.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 2 years of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement).
• Flatbed experience a plus.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Overnight travel required, averaging 1-3 nights/week depending on geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Transport and retrieve pre-built portable storage buildings and materials between sales locations, manufacturing plants, and customer locations.
• Deliver and set up buildings on-site: level and block units to spec.
• Execute repo pickups, including site clearing and load securing.
• Operate Commercial Heavy Duty Pickups or day-cab semi-trucks with shed trailer and a Mule or shed forklift for site placement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical or safety issues immediately.
• Contact customers ahead of delivery to confirm order details and access.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, pickup records, and weekly expense reports with company software.
• Use phone/tablet to receive dispatch details and submit required paperwork and photos.
• Communicate proactively with the Fleet Manager and dispatch.
• Keep your vehicle and equipment clean and in proper working order.
• Participate in regular safety training and abide by all safety laws, requirements, and best practices.
