Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in the Quakertown/Easton area to deliver equipment safely and on time. You’ll be home each night and serve as a brand ambassador with customers while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inspecting equipment, maintaining logs, and recommending additional gear as needed. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, 2+ years DOT driving experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys).
• Maintain drivers' logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Must be able to operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specs.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
