Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Winterville, NC. You will deliver equipment to customers safely, on time, and with courteous service, and you’ll be home every night.

Responsibilities include drop-off and pick-up, operating construction equipment such as semi-trucks and lowboys, maintaining logs and pre-trip inspections, and suggesting additional equipment to customers. Minimum 2 years DOT driving experience; HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys).
• Adhere to safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
