Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a CDL A Driver in Walton, KY. You will deliver equipment to customers and be a company ambassador, often interacting with clients and returning home each night.

Responsibilities include operating trucks, maintaining logs, performing pre-trip inspections, and ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
