Job summary

Carter Lumber seeks a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials across North Carolina and surrounding states in a full-time role. Salary-based pay with potential bonuses is offered, along with a stable schedule and growth opportunities.

You will deliver friendly customer service at sites, securely load and unload with a forklift, and ensure loads are properly secured and tarped when required. No touch freight is typical.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record required.
• Flatbed experience preferred for load securing.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations essential for compliance.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to Carter Lumber locations across North Carolina and nearby states.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and, when needed, tarp products; no touch freight where applicable.
• Assist with forklift loading/unloading as required.
