Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice Company in Niles, MI is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our long-standing family-owned team. You will deliver to customer locations on a daily route, unload carefully, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while preserving a high standard of service.

Starting with paid training, you move into our component pay structure based on productivity; most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week.

Qualifications

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting delivery times.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles and comply with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations on schedule.
• Unload products manually and place them in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy and collect signatures as required.
• Assist with customer payments when applicable.
• Provide courteous customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Operate commercial vehicles safely in varied terrain and weather conditions.
• Lift and move product weights up to 50 lbs; occasionally >75 lbs.
• Adhere to FMCSA hours of service and safety practices.
