Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to support its food service distribution network. The role involves operating tractor trailers and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering to customers, and maintaining safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, accurate paperwork, on-time deliveries, and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old; meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR in past 3 years; pass background check and drug test.
• Pass road test; DOT Health Card current or able to secure renewal.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Complete required safety inspections and paperwork accurately.
• Deliver and unload food products on schedule to customers.
• Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures; handle payments when required.
• Maintain vehicle and trailer cleanliness and secure freight at all times.
