Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers, ensuring safety, timeliness, and courteous service. You’ll be the company ambassador, often interacting with customers, and you’ll be home every night as a local driver.

You will drop off and pick up equipment, operate trucks and trailers per CDL-A, and maintain logs and inspections while upholding safety and service standards. Join a leader in equipment rental and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Exceptional customer service and professional communication expected.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
