Job summary

BlueLinx is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team in Missouri. You will securely load and unload, ensure on-time freight delivery, maintain DOT inspections and accurate POD paperwork while representing our safety focused culture.

Qualified drivers have a valid CDL A, at least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Home daily, benefits, and strong support await.

• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Secure loads properly (no tarping).
• Deliver freight accurately and promptly.
• Handle Proof of Delivery paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers and resolve issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and complete DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and trip reports.

What You’ll Deliver:

• Properly secure loads. No tarping – only strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.

What You’ll Need to Deliver:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.

• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
