Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a delivery driver to service our customers with reliable, on-time food product deliveries. You will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards, while building relationships with customers.

The role requires 12+ months of commercial driving, a valid CDL A, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass background and drug checks. You will work Monday–Friday, with early dispatch hours and home daily.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with DOT compliance.
• Clean MVR over past 3 years; pass drug test and background check.
• Must be 21+; pass road test; have DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer or straight truck per DOT and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections and address issues promptly.
• Deliver and unload food products, verify invoices and obtain signatures.
• Unload damaged goods and process returns; keep equipment secured.
