Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a professional truck driver to join our team in Milton, FL. You will perform touch-freight tasks, load and inspect shipments, and ensure safe, timely deliveries while complying with DOT and company safety procedures.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather. Team players who can operate independently will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
