Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, through its Cowlitz Clean Sweep division, seeks a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport hazmat or other materials from job sites to disposal locations. This is a hands-on role working closely with field teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Hazmat preferred), high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years’ DOT vehicle experience, and willingness to work with the crew on site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and must meet eligibility for company insurance policy.
• High school Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years’ experience driving DOT regulated vehicles required.
• Experience driving Hazmat materials strongly preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work side-by-side with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum truck and hoses; move and reposition equipment.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and comply with traffic laws and company policies.
• Drive in accordance with safety policies and regulations.
• Complete DOT pre- and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Transport drums with lift gate to pick up or deliver at destinations.
• Follow dispatch instructions and load/unload at job sites.
• Report accidents and injuries; complete accident forms as needed.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and maintain driving safety.
