Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a CDL A Driver Hazmat for the Fairless Hills, PA area. You will transport and off-load industrial gases, performing pre-trip inspections and DOT-compliant reporting. The role requires HazMat and Tanker endorsements and a minimum of 3 years tractor-trailer experience.

Qualificações

• Minimum 21 years old.
• 3+ years experience as tractor-trailer driver.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED, or technical college/military experience.
• Preferred: 3 years HazMat or Tanker experience.
• Product knowledge of cryogenic and specialized gases is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Class A CDL vehicle with HazMat and Tanker endorsements to transport gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, injuries, safety issues, and citations promptly to supervisor.
• Complete and submit DOT and company reports as required.

Drive Class A CDL vehicle with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.

• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ years experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience.
• Preferred, Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases, preferred
