Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a CDL A Driver Hazmat for Bozrah, CT to transport and off-load Argon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure safety compliance, and report incidents according to DOT and Airgas policies.

Sign-on bonus $5K, training pay $38/hour, potential earnings $100K–$110K+, quarterly bonuses, $2,000 driver referral bonus, and full benefits after 30 days. Airgas offers strong family benefits and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 3+ years experience as tractor-trailer driver.
• CDL A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied gases.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, and DOT/Airgas policy violations to supervisor.
• Complete and submit required reports to DOT/Airgas.
• Tanker - Hauling Argon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen.

• Sign-On Bonus $5K, paid in increments.
• Pay Rate during training $38.00 per/hr.
• Ability to earn up $100K - $110K+ annually

• Work Schedule: (Fri.-Tues. Start 1:00 PM) (Thurs. - Mon. Start 6:30 PM) (Fri. - Tues. start 9:00 PM)

Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.

• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
• Tanker - Hauling Liquid Argon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ year experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience
• Preferred, Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience
