Job summary

Irby Utilities in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring CDL-A drivers responsible for delivering merchandise to customers, coordinating with scheduling, and loading and unloading materials. You will follow DOT safety rules and company policies while representing the branch with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to customers and assist with scheduling, loading, and unloading of materials
• Comply with Irby and DOT safety rules and regulations
• Uphold the integrity of the branch team through exceptional service standards and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English to perform the essential functions of the position, follow safety procedures, understand work-related instructions, and complete required documentation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commercial Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card and Clearinghouse consent
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift/push packages thatweigh up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
