Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate manual transmission trucks and trailers with GVWR 26,001+ lbs, delivering and unloading pipe and equipment. You will represent the company and maintain positive customer relations on every job.

Key responsibilities include loading and securing materials, assisting field crews, completing site analyses, and keeping DOT logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations. A valid Class A license and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT Physical Card.
• Able to maintain DOT logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Experience driving manual transmission trucks is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive manual transmission trucks and trailers (GVWR 26,001+ lb) to pick up, deliver, and unload pipe and equipment.
• Load, secure, and unload materials for scheduled deliveries to customers or branches.
• Assist field crew with unloading equipment and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, and related components.
• Complete job site analyses and obtain customer signatures for work orders and invoicing.
• Maintain DOT logs and comply with federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Complete paperwork accurately (rental orders, logs, Empower Time).
• Provide customer service on-site and maintain professional relations with customers.
