Job summary

Bay Insulation of Louisiana Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a CDL Class A Driver responsible for delivering insulation products to scheduled job sites and performing loading/unloading as needed. Some warehouse work and strong customer service at delivery points are essential.

You will drive according to DOT and Corporate Safety guidelines, perform pre-trip inspections, handle related paperwork, and assist in the plant when required. Company benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last five years required.
• CDL Class A license in compliance with DOT regulations required.
• Ability to obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insulation material to job sites on schedule.
• Load and unload material as needed; assist in warehouse operations.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and minor truck maintenance; report issues to Plant Manager.
• Complete paperwork including tickets, bills of lading, fuel receipts, and trip reports; secure COD payments when specified.
• Maintain DOT logs and comply with safety guidelines; operate ELD as required.
