Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a division of Performance Food Group, is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver in New Jersey to safely transport and unload food products to diverse customers including restaurants and facilities. You will follow routes, perform pre/post trip checks, and maintain delivery documentation.

Compensation starts at a minimum of $310 per day with opportunities to earn more, plus Day 1 benefits and growth within a nationwide distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass post-offer drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and related products.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and DOT safety checks.
• Delivers and unloads items, verifies delivery with customer signatures.
• Maintains accurate paperwork and loads/unloads in accordance with company policy.
• Secures equipment and documents hours of service daily.
