Job summary

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loads, complete logs, and maintain accurate documentation while communicating with dispatch. Represent Hookem Enterprises professionally with customers and at delivery points on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record; knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience with route planning, time management, and basic truck maintenance and inspections.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation, logs, and compliance-related paperwork.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Ability to lift, secure, and handle freight safely; commitment to workplace and roadway safety.
• Previous experience as a CDL A driver or in commercial trucking is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; additional safety or transportation certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing routes and delivery needs.
