Job summary

Miller Environmental Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a CDL Class A Driver / Field Laborer to support environmental services operations. You will operate CDL Class A vehicles for remediation, waste transport, industrial cleaning, and spill response while performing hands-on field work when not driving.

The role requires flexibility, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work in challenging environments under DOT, OSHA, and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid, unrestricted CDL Class A license.
• Ability to safely operate CDL vehicles and complete DOT documentation.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. and perform heavy physical labor.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and on uneven terrain.
• Willingness to get dirty and to work extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, travel as needed, and be on‑call.
• Ability to wear respirators and meet OSHA respiratory protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT and company requirements.
• Drive tractor trailers, tankers, roll‑off, and vacuum trucks.
• Transport materials between job sites, facilities, and disposal locations.
• Secure loads and label/placard hazardous materials.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Support environmental cleanup, remediation, spill response, and industrial cleaning.
• Assist in setting up containment and work zones; load/unload tools and debris.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and required training.
