Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Bulk Truck Operator to deliver commercial explosives to mining, quarry, and construction sites. You will drive and operate trucks, assist in SME plant operations, and perform preventive maintenance and safety checks.

Responsibilities include off-road drive to mines and quarries, calibrating equipment, loading/unloading product, and maintaining safe working conditions per DN H&S policies.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Air Brakes, tanker, and hazmat endorsements required.
• 5+ months of mechanical, commercial driving, explosives or related work experience.
• Must be willing to undergo ATF background check to possess explosives.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and equipment to deliver explosives safely and on time.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of SME plant; manage chemical solutions and loading/unloading of SME trucks.
• Drive various delivery vehicles to customer sites, including off-road mine locations and quarries.
• Load, unload, and prepare explosive products; calibrate equipment and check emulsion density.
• Maintain safety and regulatory procedures, site safety, and equipment maintenance.
