Job summary

Toyota Transport in Portland, Oregon is seeking Delivery Specialists to load, secure, and deliver Toyota and Lexus vehicles to dealers and events. You will follow safety SOPs, ensuring damage-free transport and comply with DOT regulations.

Expect two to three loads daily, with 10–11 hour shifts and weekend work as needed. Qualified candidates have a Class A CDL, 2+ years of verifiable driving, and the ability to operate in various weather and traffic conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience driving a tractor/trailer is preferred.
• Willingness to operate in Portland, Oregon location and in varying environments.

Responsibilities

Reporting to theToyota Transport Supervisor,the Delivery Specialist is responsible for thesafeload, delivery and unloading of Toyota andLexus vehicles to selected dealerships, rental car locations and special events.

What you’ll be doing

As a Toyota Transport Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for loading, securing, and delivering finished Toyota and Lexus vehicles to our partner dealers or special events. You will adhere to Toyota Transport’s standard operating procedures to ensure safe loading practices and maintain the vehicles in damage-free condition. Typically, you will deliver two to three loads each day, working around 10 to 11 hours. Weekend work, particularly on Saturdays, is often required to support our customers and dealers. As a Delivery Specialist, you are expected to comply with all relevant DOT laws and regulations.

What youbring

• This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position
• Valid class A commercial driver’s license
• 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience driving a tractor/trailer
• The willingness and ability to work out ofthe Portland, Oregonlocation
• Willingness and ability to work inenvironmental conditions that include moderate to loud noise; exposure to vehicle; extreme hot/cold temperatures; all weather conditions, including, but not limited to, precipitation and wind; bright sunlight and nighttime working conditions.
• A clean and verifiable commercial driving record without any violations or convictions going back 2 years.
