****CDL CLASS A/B REQUIRED****

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a delivery position responsible for driving a 48ft tractor trailer, delivering and unloading various products for our customers. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various evening start times are required to meet customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver products within the assigned route schedule and time windows
• Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation rules
• Unload merchandise using hand trucks
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery
• Operate a commercial truck safely
• Be at least 21 years old
• Operate a 48 ft refrigerated tractor trailer under supervision across NYC, NJ, and CT based on the route
• Complete required training hours and pass all safety, work, and driving assessments
• Straight Truck Apprentices: 600 hours of training

Full-Time

Position: Driver - DOT Apprentice

Position Requirements

• No prior driving experience required; training provided through our apprentice program
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English relevant to the job and safety regulations
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
• Previous experience operating commercial trucks preferred
• Must pass a Clearing House Query
• Possess a valid, non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 150 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
