Job summary

Idaho Milk Transport is seeking CDL-A drivers to transport bulk food grade liquid to customers across the 11 Western and Midwest states. Drivers are paid by the mile (.65 CPM) and typically out 10–14 days at a time, with flexible hometime—usually 2 days home for every 1 week out.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required
• 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience
• Tank endorsement required
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required

Responsibilities

• Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from dairy farms and processing plants.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Input obvious macros into our automated system for each stage of loading/unloading
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations and with company policies
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
