Core-Mark International in Illinois is seeking an experienced Driver, hourly CDL-A to deliver and unload food and related products along intrastate and interstate routes, complying with DOT regulations and safety standards. You will interact with customers and co-workers professionally while ensuring timely deliveries.

The position emphasizes pre/post trip inspections, accurate paperwork, and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A and 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and ability to pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections and ensure tractor/trailer meet safety standards.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Report safety hazards and needed repairs.
• Drive to customer locations and deliver orders per schedule; unload freight.
• Verify deliveries, collect signatures, and handle payments where required.
• Secure vehicle and verify paperwork for all loads.
• Maintain hours-of-service logs and keep work areas clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
