TransForce is seeking a Class A CDL driver for a local, home-daily route in Eagan, Minnesota. This temporary-to-permanent assignment runs from August 31 through September 12, 2026, with potential to become permanent.

Expect about 40 hours per week with start times between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and a flexible schedule during the startup period. The role covers local mail routes and light-touch freight, including loading/unloading and yard operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have 6+ months of driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
• Meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Willingness to perform light-touch freight duties including loading/unloading.
• Flexible availability for startup period schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
• Complete assigned routes safely, accurately, and on time.
• Load, unload, and handle mail as required.
• Support startup execution, go-live activities, and operational stabilization.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records.
• Report delays, equipment issues, and operational concerns.
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and workplace safety procedures.

About the Position

Our client is seeking Class A CDL drivers for a local, home-daily position in Eagan, Minnesota. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity involves mail routes, time-sensitive freight, and light-touch handling. The assignment is scheduled to run from August 31 through September 12, 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

• Base pay: $31.34 per hour
• Health and welfare benefit: $6.16 per hour
• Total hourly compensation: $37.50 per hour
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Local, home-daily schedule
• Start times vary between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Flexible availability is required for changing schedules, routes, and operational needs during the startup period
• Route type: Local mail routes
• Equipment: Class A commercial vehicles
• Handling: Light-touch freight, including loading, unloading, and mail handling
• Assist with direct-ingestion processes and yard operations
• Follow all safety, security, and yard-compliance procedures
