Job summary

Approved Freight Forwarders is seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers to join our growing team in City of Industry. Applicants must be dependable and efficient, with the stamina for long hours and the ability to stay organized and detail oriented.

The pay range is $30–$33 per hour, with overtime potential based on business needs. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with evening hours, and some rotations are noted.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Hazmat endorsements and TWIC card required.
• 3–5 years of local port driving experience preferred.
• No DUI/DWI convictions in 3 years.
• Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment medical exam and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Conduct daily truck maintenance (refueling, cleaning, etc.).
• Document damages or injuries promptly.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and loads verified.
• Follow DOT regulations and road/weather conditions.
• Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.
