Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a CDL A Driver to transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials using Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, and other equipment. The role requires compliance with DOT rules, safety-first practices, and occasional out-of-town travel for emergency responses.

The Driver reports to the Field Office’s Branch Manager and may participate in on-call rotations. A clean CDL A, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and HAZWOPER experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL A with a clean driving record.
• Current Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
• No manual or airbrake restrictions.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER experience/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety as the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Adhere to transportation compliance requirements including inspection reports and logs.
• Predominantly local work with occasional mandatory out-of-town travel; possible extra OTR routes.
• Load and unload different types of waste effectively.
• Operate light and heavy equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, and pressure washers.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Perform labor-intensive duties in various weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in restricted areas.
• Attend mandatory training to earn certifications relevant to responsibilities.
• Ensure proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
• May be on-call for emergencies; travel may be required.
