Job summary

Paycom is seeking a CDL Driver to operate a company truck between distributor warehouses in Weatherford, TX. You’ll complete pre-trip inspections, load checks, and drive safely under DOT rules; nights and weekends at home.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–3 years commercial driving experience, a valid Texas CDL, and a current DOT medical card. Benefits include paid leave, health coverage, 401(k), and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years commercial driving experience; 1 year over-the-road preferred.
• Valid Texas Commercial Driver License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company truck while transporting product between distributor warehouse locations.
• Safeguard company products, equipment, and vehicles while on the route.
• Complete required pre-trip safety inspections per DOT regulations and company guidelines.
• Operate the vehicle safely, obey all traffic laws, and follow applicable DOT regulations at all times.
• Ensure the truck is properly loaded to prevent product damage during transport.
• Remove trash, shrink-wrap, and debris from the truck at the end of each day.
• Keep the truck cab clean, organized, and ready for the next route.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of commercial driving experience; one year of over-the-road experience preferred
• Valid Colorado Commercial Driver License
• Valid U.S. Department of Transportation Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Ability to perform a physically active role that includes continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping
• Ability to occasionally carry 20–50 lbs. and 50–100 lbs.
