Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring for a Trench Safety Division driver in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on transporting trench and MAP shoring equipment to customer sites using knuckle boom, flatbed, semi, and trailer trucks.

They require a Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card, with flatbed loading/unloading experience. NCCCO is a plus. On-site work with weekly pay, plus benefits noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience required.
• Will drive knuckle boom crane-equipped trucks including flatbed variants.
• TWIC card is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport trench and MAP shoring to and from customer sites using various trucks.
• Assist with equipment assembly, testing, inspection, and yard duties as needed.
• Maintain courteous, professional customer relations; act as an extension of sales.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM. Could start as early as 6am.

On-call rotation as needed 1-2 weeks per month.

Pay: PAID WEEKLY!

Have you got what it takes?

• Class A CDL License & DOT Medical Card is required – no wiggle room on this. (Sunstate will pay for DOT Medical card renewal if needed).
• Flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience required.
• NCCCO certification a plus, but not required. Will be driving a truck with Knuckle boom crane attached.
• TWIC card a plus but not required.
• 80% of work will be transporting Trench and MAP shoring to and from customer job sites using various trucks - knuckle boom flat bed, semi, and trailer trucks.
• 20% of work will include, but not limited to, assembly, testing, and inspection of equipment, power washing, inventory control and various yard duties.
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
• Maintain customer relations by consistently being courteous, professional and helpful. Drivers are considered an extension of sales.
