Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. – Trench Safety Division is hiring a CDL-A driver to transport trench and shoring equipment to customer sites. The role requires flatbed experience, loading/unloading, and valid DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL License & DOT Medical Card required—no wiggle room.
• Flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience required.
• Previous Equipment Rental experience is a plus.
• NCCCO certification a plus, but not required.
• TWIC card a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport trench and MAP shoring to and from customer sites using knuckle boom flat bed, semi, and trailer trucks.
• Assist with assembly, testing, inspection of equipment, power washing, inventory control and yard duties.
• Physical exertion including walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds.
• Maintain courteous, professional customer relations; act as an extension of sales.

TRENCH SAFETY DIVISION

Hiring Immediately:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM. Could start as early as 6am.

On-call rotation as needed 1-2 weeks per month.

Pay: PAID WEEKLY!

Have you got what it takes?

• Class A CDL License & DOT Medical Card is required - no wiggle room on this. (Sunstate will pay for DOT Medical card renewal if needed).
• Flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience required.
• Previous Equipment Rental experience a plus
• NCCCO certification a plus, but not required. Will be driving a truck with Knuckle boom crane attached.
• TWIC card a plus but not required.
• 80% of work will be transporting Trench and MAP shoring to and from customer job sites using various trucks - knuckle boom flat bed, semi, and trailer trucks.
• 20% of work will include, but not limited to, assembly, testing, and inspection of equipment, power washing, inventory control and various yard duties.
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
• Maintain customer relations by consistently being courteous, professional and helpful. Drivers are considered an extension of sales.
