Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to help meet Trench Safety needs by delivering equipment safely, on time, and courteously. You will be a company ambassador and home nightly as we’re local.

You’ll drop off and pick up equipment, operate trucks and cranes per DOT rules, maintain logs, and uphold safety standards while providing exceptional customer service. This role offers growth opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum DOT regulatory driving experience of 2 years.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment including semi-trucks and trailers (’low boys’) per DOT classification CDL-A.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Must also be able to operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Requirements:
