Job summary

Quickprojobs in United States, NC seeks a reliable CDL A Local Delivery Driver to join a dedicated team in Tabor City. This temp-to-hire role offers daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule, and weekly pay for local deliveries of packaged and general freight.

You will start at 6:00 AM, load your trailer using a forklift, make 5–15 stops per route, and return with occasional pickups. Must meet CDL A requirements and pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• 3 consecutive years of CDL A experience.
• Forklift/reach truck experience.
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries of packaged and general freight.
• Load trailers each morning using a forklift.
• Make 5–15 stops per route.
• Operate day cab trucks with automatic transmissions.

We’re looking for a reliable CDL A driver to join a great team in Tabor City, NC. This is a temp-to-hire position with quick conversion and weekly pay, a good fit for drivers who want long-term stability.

Position Highlights

• $20/hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours
• Weekly pay
• Temp-to-hire with quick conversion
• Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00 AM start until the route is complete
• Local deliveries of packaged and general freight
• 5–15 stops per route
• Drivers load their own trailers each morning using a forklift
• Occasional pick-ups on the return trip

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 22 years of age
• Valid CDL A
• Current DOT medical card
• 3 consecutive years of recent CDL A experience
• Forklift/reach truck experience
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
