Job summary

Sportsman Boats is seeking a CDL-A Driver to transport boats and equipment along the East Coast and across the U.S. Unlike typical over-the-road trucking, overnight trips are typically only 1–2 nights per week, allowing more time at home.

You will load, secure, transport, and unload boats, complete logs, and maintain truck safety. A valid CDL-A, clean record, active DOT card, and strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Clean driving record and active DOT physical card.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport Sportsman boats and equipment.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload boats and equipment.
• Complete required driver logs and DOT documentation.
• Inspect and maintain the truck and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and delivery sites.
• Represent Sportsman Boats with a customer-focused attitude.

CDL-A Driver – This Is NOT Your Typical Trucking Job

Looking for a CDL driving job that lets you get on the road without living on the road? Come drive for Sportsman Boats!

Our CDL Drivers transport our boats and equipment throughout the East Coast and across the U.S.—but unlike traditional over-the-road trucking, our overnight trips are typically only 1–2 nights per week. You’ll spend your time hauling some pretty impressive cargo, representing a growing boat manufacturer, and still have plenty of time at home.

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-AAND atleast 1 year of driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Active DOT physical card
• Strong commitment to safety
• Dependable and reliable
• Ability to work occasional overnight trips and an irregular schedule
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform the physical requirements of the position
