Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time. You’ll be an ambassador, interact with customers, and be home every night.

You’ll operate construction equipment, maintain logs, perform pre-trip inspections, and suggest equipment or supplies customers may need. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-A).
• Adhere to safety requirements and DOT regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties as needed.
