Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a driver to drop off and pick up equipment for customers in the San Antonio area. You will operate heavy construction equipment, including manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers, maintain a driver log, and suggest additional equipment as needed.

This role requires a CDL-B eligible or valid license, strong safety focus, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities also include operating boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specifications and performing

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Diligent attention to safety and safe driving procedures.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a driver log.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Maintain a driver log

Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need

Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid and clean driver's license

Superior customer service skills

Diligent attention to safety and safe driving procedures

Basic knowledge of construction equipment

Frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
